Dairy-Free Cream of Chicken Sub

You'll need: water, vegan chicken bouillon powder, red lentils, raw cashews, salt (optional)

We use our homemade bouillon powder for this recipe, and it works perfectly! You can also use your favorite store-bought version or bouillon paste/cubes!

Step 1: Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, then turn heat to low and simmer (covered) 10 minutes.

Step 2: Carefully transfer to a heat-safe high-powered blender and blend until super smooth and creamy like so!

Step 3: Pour this into three 8-oz. mason jars and cover with canning lids. Let cool completely on the counter before moving to the fridge to set.

After chilling at least 1-2 hours, you'll have a thickened read-to-use dairy-free cream of chicken sub perfect for all the casseroles!
