Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 2 large or 4 small cocktails

Ingredients

  • 6 oz tequila Treat yourself to the good stuff!
  • 4 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 2 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • 2 oz agave

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker (or a large mason jar / something with a lid) halfway with ice. Measure and add all the ingredients. Cover and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Get out your glasses. If you want salt-rimmed glasses, run the juicy part of a lime over the rims and dip them in coarse salt. Then, add 2 to 3 cubes to each glass.
  • Strain the margarita into each glass and garnish with a lime wedge if you wanna be fancy. Drink up!
