Easy Marinated Baked Tofu

You'll need: extra firm tofu (frozen and thawed), olive oil, red wine vinegar, black pepper, dried oregano and thyme, garlic, and vegan chicken bouillon powder

We use our homemade vegan chicken bouillon powder for this recipe, and it creates a beautiful chicken flavor with plant-based ingredients!

First, mix all the ingredients for your simple tofu marinade in a large measuring cup with a fork or small whisk.

Marinate the thawed tofu in the simple marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight for the best flavor power!

After marinating, bake the  easy marinated tofu at 350F for 40 minutes, stopping once halfway through to flip.

Depending on the thickness of the cutlets, how long you froze the tofu, and what brand you're using...you may want to cook the tofu 10-20 minutes longer.

This Marinated Baked Tofu is fantastic served on a bed of couscous and greens with veggies, pickles, and tahini sauce.
