Dairy Free Apple Pie

You'll need: dairy-free and egg-free pie crusts (suggestions in the post), apples, light brown sugar, dairy-free butter, cinnamon

Step 1: Saute the chopped apples in the dairy-free butter and stir in the sugar and cinnamon. Cook on medium-high heat 3-4 minutes covered.

Step 2: Once the time is up, let the apple pie filling cool for a few minutes while you preheat the oven to 425F. Then, spoon the apple pie filling into your dairy-free pie crust.

Step 3: Top this with the second, rolled-out pie crust. Crimp/Flute excess top crust together with bottom crust edge, pressing edges together to seal.

Step 4: Bake the dairy free pie at 425F for 12-15 min. Then 20-25 more minutes with edges covered in foil.

Cool the Dairy Free Apple Pie on a cooling rack at least 2 hours before serving with vegan vanilla ice cream!
