Baked Italian Tofu

You'll need: extra firm tofu (frozen and thawed), olive oil, tomato paste, fresh garlic, balsamic vinegar, basil, and vegan chicken broth powder

First, mix all the ingredients for your marinade in a large measuring cup with a fork or small whisk.

Marinate the thawed tofu in the Italian marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight for the best flavor!

After marinating, bake the  Italian marinated tofu at 350F for 40 minutes, stopping once halfway through to flip.

Depending on the thickness of the cutlets, how long you froze the tofu, and what brand you're using...you may want to cook the tofu 10-20 minutes longer.
