Healthy Apple Pie Filling

You'll need: firm small apples, light brown sugar or coconut sugar, dairy-free butter or coconut oil, cinnamon, water

Step 1: First, melt the vegan butter or coconut oil in a large pan and add the peeled and chopped apples. Cover and cook 5 minutes.

Step 2: Then, add the brown sugar or coconut sugar along with the cinnamon and water. Stir to coat completely.

Step 3: Finally, cover the apple pie filling and cook another 7 minutes until tender, stirring often.
